There's not a single Wakey fan who was at that game today that thinks this result was down to James Child.

Be gracious, you were the better side today by a country mile and deserved the win. I think even you would have to admit that we made a lot of errors and we probably made it far too easy for you, but you took full advantage so fair play to you.

What a totally depressing day. Michael Carter must be gutted that the potential crowd puller v Saints has now been wiped off.

My fault. We're still a bit sore after James Childs previous performances on a few occasions. Let's just say he's been frequently unkind over the years!



Anyway good luck for the rest of the season. Today could have just been an off day considering the start you've had so chins up and forget about it now.

Steady on, its only a couple of weeks since that Widnes drew with Wigan.

Simple truth Widnes turned up on fire and Wakey turned up asleep and we got what we deserved a good old fashioned thrashing

That pretty much sums it up.



We always come unstuck when we start believing we're world beaters. We got one or two unlucky bounces of the ball, but Widnes were making ground and we weren't. One of the most inept performances for a long time. I don't think Webster can cop any blame. It was individual stuff each time. The start of the second half summed it up. The slim chance of a comeback, fired up after a half-time roasting, blown when Hall sent the kick off straight into touch.



I can deal with "just one of those days", but it came at a bad time. It will cost the club money on Friday, when the floating fan decides to save his or her twenty quid and watch it on the telly.
