| Ben Bailey will not pay anything like the original and rather optimistic valuation of the Jungle. Which leaves Cas between a rock and a hard place as far as financing the project is concerned.
Even if the fat lad Knocks you back on your application for 12 months, I reckon that Cas will simply not be able to raise the amount that they will need to actually finish their project, and are orft to the co op championships.

The 3 year limit starts with the signing of the section 106 agreement that they only achieved in june this year, so they've two and a half years left to apply for FPP.

Or even start it!! They do seem to be dragging their heels a bit, given the timelines involved. It seems that if we can get a positive OPP decision back anytime soon we will leapfrog them in the race.
Personally, I have always said that I want both clubs to get their stadia sorted as I don't feel it should be either of us that goes to the wall to keep the RFL's crazy "expansion at any cost" idea afloat.

I think this is also the wish of most Wakefield fans and Rugby League fans in general, however I also think that this is not going to happen, no matter how much protestation.
It's common sense, and there is something of a shortage of that up red hall way!!

| Fully, again a serious question, I thought RW had said that Cas would submit a FP Aplication in mid November. We are now more than a week into December and apparently no news of the submitting of the FPA or explanation as to why there's a delay, has there been some news that we've missed?

As long as this was not at the expense of our SL licence I could live with it, but given they wanted to go their own way, if they joined with us at Newmarket in advance of the licencing decision and they were selected over us for a further 3 year franchise - to say I would be fuming would be an understatement!!!

Thats a rather strange comment.......I'm a Wakey fan but was it not ourselves who decided to go our own way Not Cas?
If i remember correctly, Mr Wright was happy to look at the possibility of groundsharing whereas our people completely turned their back on it.
Its great being on here but some so called Wakefield fans on here DO talk some garbage.....its embarrassing at times.........i give you Kinley cat as exhibit A!!!

I smell a bit of trolling, mr wright indeed!!!As you will remember the only ground share "mr wright" was interested in was at Glasshoughton.

How is it a strange comment, Wright was never happy to ground share at Newmarket, he was happy for us to go to Glasshoughton and so were their fans. He thought that if a Feasibility study went a head, the Glasshoughton site would get the nod because they had the planning permission. Don't you think we were right to say no to the study and to go our own way.
