Just watched Leeds v HKR and to say they are both below us in the table they both are playing far more expansive open rugby which is a pleasure to watch.Tony smith has HKR playing the type of rugby we can only dream about at this moment in time ,and honestly can’t see it changing anytime soon.

If Jason was every to be asked to come and coach Wakefield he would have to make sure he had an amour plated coat to protect him from the knives in the back

There's no back stabbing of Chester. He's made bad player recruitment choices and team selection and tactics. Now the fans are fed up. He'd have gone at any other club in SL.

JD has built up a decent reputation as a coach. If I were in his shoes I would be very wary of accepting a role with us. He will be inheriting a squad that is has many players nearly at their sell by date and some already there. Next years recruitment is also looking old and suspect in many cases. Plus he will have a backroom staff that needs a major overall.



JD has plenty of time and is already in a decent position why should he give that all up and take the massive risk with our crock of sheete

This. If i was him i wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole. Keep his apprenticeship with Wayne Bennett at Souths for the next 18 months then be in line to take over there when Bennett retires.

OK, he puzzles me with persisting with the Miller/Brough partnership and his obvious dislike of Jowitt, but there is no coach in the world would have done any better generally with the player situation we have had this season.



Also, as far as the statement 'many players past their sell by date' , these are the same players that were playing some superb rugby and guided us to the top 3, before the worst injury situation I can remember hitting the club.
