| Quote cool4kats="cool4kats"i don't think that you have got it right at all.all this complicated over analysing you seem to do and your constant moaning about jk selection and bench use. its a simple game mate. last week and this week, had no problem getting to the line but failed to turn pressure to points. we are just short of a bit of flair and a bit of nounce. last week when the kick didn't reach touch the game turned. this week beginning of second half, dropped the ball , conceded a penalty, the game turned. i know we all like to look for scape goats but i think you are looking in the wrong place. we have got what we have got this year and we are doing ok and will get better. t.w.a.s'"
PS - my constant moaning about kears selection and bench use, is because I think the team would produce even better results if this area was addressed and it is frustrating to think of what may have been in some of these games.

| Quote chapster="chapster"I do think there is something in that, we do seem to have a knack of rotating after 35 mins in first half, surely this is lregel pointless and secondly makes players more prone to pulled muscles as they effectivly start cold twice in 5 mins game time!'"
It does not seem to make any sense but Hudds also made a change with 4 minutes left in the first half. I have also noticed a number of teams in the TV games making changes 5 or so minutes from half time don't understand it myself but they must have a reason for doing it.

| The only logic I can get out if it after thinking about it for a while would be taking a second rower off, pushing Dean in to the pack, murph to centre and veivers to full back.

Far too much messing about for just one interchange and completely unnecessary. I would suggest the back line needs a little consistency to aid the defensive structure.
It seems both the last two weeks have seen a reasonable first half defensive effort succeeded by a half of letting in 28 or so points. When did the Murphy injury occur?

| I'm only assuming but the change at the end of the half is probably to do with the fact that more tries are scored in that period than any other. Cullen and Clarke are always talking about that.
People are getting tired and concentration is going. Bringing a fresh player on will more likely make you the team that scores rather than the opposition.
Anyone remember Price's Dreadnaughts call. Encouraged to call it at this stage of the game because of the impact it would make.
So for me, I'm not worried about the bench. It has been form for a while to have 3 forwards and a hooker on the bench. This will help if you are a big go forward or wrestling team like Wigan now or Bradford when they were good, but maybe tide is changing and coaches are thinking that doing that will only get you up field. For teams that need extra in the backs maybe you ask your forwards to do 5-10 minutes more each game and play a back that might give you a spark.

| Not worried about the bench at the minute. Got a game at the weekend that is 100% winnable if we play with spirit like we have been. If we lose by a similar score on Sunday then ma by we can start asking questions but for now i think we should trust Kear

That may or may not be what he is thinking/doing. If it is then he is quite frankly mental imo

| Well done JK.
You resisted the temptation to select a fullback/winger on the bench.
The forwards didnt run out of steam and we had an excellent interchange option with Wildie for Rinaldi.

And he used him correctly by giving him plenty of game time. He certainly looks impressive.

His run from DH towards the back end of the game was perfection - he went through them like a hot knife through butter.
Was funny seeing him up against Karl Pryce - the definition of mismatch.
