As much as I like Obst I don't think we need him if the rumours about Tim Smith and Isaac John are true. We have Ellis at hooker and cover in Davey as well as Wildie and Wood at a pinch. He's also on quota so I cannot see any point in bringing him in. I'd rather sign a prop.

Huddersfield release 3 as deemed not good enough for their side, so who takes them all? one taken just to get tommy lee out of the door. Big Ali one of the best players to play SL, now Leeds deem him to be way past his best and release him.......step in Wakey. Hull shouting from the rooftops ....We need Sam Obst out so we can bring a better player in.....come in Agar 
Not being negative but early season signings have been overshadowed by extremely mediocre signings that other clubs have released because they wont make their team. |

Its ok next year we are getting Jonathon Thurston, Cameron Smith, Billy Slater and Benji Marshall... will that be good enough for you???  |

If we came to an agreement for Hull to pay a proportion of his wages (50%) for the final year of his contract then Sam would look a better proposition.

Agree with the uninspiring Hudds players, but the other signings are at least one step better than what we had. Which is what we are aiming for, progression year by year. There's only a limited pool of players to choose from, we seem to be in a good place Squad wise if the signings of Smith and John come off. Can't complain. |
