| Despite it being Lee Smith whose not the player he was, I'm shocked that we are a week away from the first game of the season and we're still selling players and there is talk of 3/4 coming in? Apart from Sammut and Foster mentioned not read any other recent rumours. Not keen on either... Sykes, Mcshane and Wildie are good kickers.
Must be saving some serious money to off load Smith?
I suppose if Siejka arrives then Sykes also competes with Kienhorst, Lynne and Briscoe for centre?
Agar really has got his work cut out to blend a team together with some imports also landing within the next 24 hours with another in 2/3 weeks?

| If Foster is the answer then Agar is asking the wrong questions. Unless that is the question is about hair gel.

I don't know much about foster, but he must a really bad person for you all to dislike him so much...
When did he leave Bradford?

I don't think he's a bad person, but he is a decidedly average RL player who's redeeming quality is that he's a dead-eye goal kicker. And I don't think he has left Bratfut - it's just a rumour at this stage.

Did i say he had left bradford or was a bad person?
What he is, bar his goal kicking, is in my opinion a poor rugby player.

Never stopped Darryl Halligan at Canterbury making a living out of being just a goal kicker.

| Foster has been reasonably well regarded at each place he has been.
If he is in the top coupls of goal kickers he is worth carrying to me if he isn't perfect.
Bradford fans liked him at full back too.
We are not exactly blessed with wingers so I'm not sure we can be that choosey.

| Just wonder If the carvell situation is being seen as a test case? If hes allowed to walk for nothing or next to nothing it might be Open season on any Bulls player not happy or totally convinced by their new regime. Wonder If the players we might be getting in are to do with this.

Can't use rumour and speculation like that on here, you will have the schoolmasters from the Bulls forum telling you that you are a naughty boy and must stop at once.
Everything is rosey in the garden, plenty of Bull been spread!

The bulls are the only place I could see us getting players from at this late stage considering our quota is full

Isn't the quota now seven? If Siejka signs we would have six wouldn't we given Lauitiiti doesn't count?

He is in the same mould as Kevin Penny (although not as quick)
He knows where the try line is but, his defence was his main downfall.
Do we really want a winger with such defensive "baggage".
Although there is no doubting his kicking ability, the cost coming the other way, may be too much.
Having said that, we are where we are and there are limited options and little time to be too choosy.

| I don't see Foster's defensive frailties as a problem given the propensity of Trinity's threequarters to barely lay a finger on the opposition winger as they score outwide. His conversions would be of benefit though.

If I had the choice I'd have a slower strong runner with good defense but I can't see us getting one.
