The table doesn't lie. We have been the weakest team by a mile and after last week I would have said there was little chance of us winning more than one or two games in the middle eight. Yesterday the team seemed to have the ability to dig in and not give up. Ok there were mistakes but a much better team effort was on display. Not been to many games this year where almost all the Wakey fans didn't move until the players were leaving the field.

The timing of the fixtures should have been set in stone at the start of the season.Playing HKR after the semi or either side of a potential final could be crucial.

This would remove any accusations of fixture manipulation 'for the greater good'.

But that wouldn't be RL now would it.

If true the positives are that Sheens won't have long to sort them out and we might get a 'better' referee. On the negative side we are ready to be publically hung and Locke hasn't got long to recover to face up to his old team

After the way Warrington took us apart on Sunday i don't think HKR will have Wembley to worry about.

Maybe, but someone will get a bonus shot after the semi.The point is who plays who and in wk1, wk2 etc should have been set at the season start.

Just like when SL first announced, part way through a season. Then Widnes in, bombed some games and then out.

It is a ludicrous way to run a professional sport.

Looks like each team have released their first home game of the 8s.

The rest are launched tomorrow.



We weren't far off last time we played them and we are better now so let's see what we can do.

First two games are Salford away and Bradford at home. Both sundays.
