I see no-one is mentioning the try Saints had disallowed incorrectly for a forward pass in the first half, that would have made it at least 10-0? Or that Washbrook should have been sin binned for a late tackle on the kicker? The Turner try that was awarded was correct to my knowledge of the rules. He was offside from the kick, so has to be ten metres away from the catcher when he touches it. He was 10 metres away and then advanced, can't see what was wrong with it. Even if it was wrong, that makes it even for the incorrectly disallowed try in the first half.



I do agree that Wilkin was lucky not to see yellow for his high shot, or even if not for that one, he should have gone for persistent offending. Wakefield's forward pass no try looked correct to me. Passed before the ten metre line and caught on the ten metre line. TJ was bang in line with it too, a close call, but a correct one.



It's a huge stretch to say Wakefield were robbed. But they made the game a really good contest. If you focus on your home fixtures, then I think you've got a great chance of making the top 8.

I heard one of video refs say there was an offside so was surprised when it was given

Turner was clearly offside. Very suprised it was given but howlers do happen.



Wellens got beaten by hall and clearly raised the leg and tripped hall. Watched it a few times with other people and its a professional foul that was missed.



There was a flop in last set Wakey attacking with seconds to go unpenalised.



One thing saints did well was slow the play down at the ruck. Drove me nuts but it's the tactic they needed to win. Just lucky that the ref didn't seem much interested in this.



Despite the above which contributed we were again our own worst enemy. Forward passes. Passing to opposition twice. Macshane in particular needs to tidy it up but I did think he got pinged for a line ball we see week in week out.



Saints got the run of the green in a landslide. Best just to move on now.
