After recent better displays I expected us to at least turn up. They didn't look up for it to me, am dumbfounded as to why. Shocking performance, we've all on to finish top 3 now. The dreaded £1million game looks likely now.

Have supported the club over 50 years and have never walked out early, I did today. Was ashamed to be a Wakefield fan today, disgusted by the lsck of passion and desire. Didnt look like the team that played at HKR last week.

I think the post Wembley issue hid quite a lot of things last week, we are still a way away from super league pace. We are too slow at ptb, no pace in backs, v little structure in attack and even our defence was woeful today, something I thought we had sorted.

Mistake moving Lee Smith to accommodate Locke, Ali left on for too many minutes- sorry but he's nothing to offer now, Godinet obviously still not fit, T Smith unable to provide anything, forwards too soft......... It goes on and on

I can't disagree with any of the negative comments on here and like others I left with over 15 minutes to go. I can't find word to describe the woeful display by a team I expected to give Widnes a game. I even got 2 others to come as well as my grandson who bought a new scarf but by the time we left I was just embarrassed and he was gutted.

We deserve nothing less than a public apology for that debacle and after over 50 years of watching Walefiled I am wondering how muc more I can take.

An apology won't wash with me now. I want to see some fight for the remaining games, my club depends on it. It depends on those very players who caved in again today. I want to see some fight and some acknowledgement from them that they understand what this club means to me, cos I will be here when they have gone.

It's all a part of the plan to get an extra home game and get more revenue in, that's providing we manage to finish fourth.

Are too many players playing with knocks such as Scruton (cracked ribs) and Godinet (knee injury) plus too many minutes for Lauitiiti plus an extra prop needed on bench such as Walker/Yates instead of Annakin maybe...



Lee Smith is not quick enough for a winger and should be centre.

Gutless, totally embarrassing! The fans recently especially away from home have been fantastic and a total credit to the club. Time to give something back. Get shut of Smith, tonight was on a par with Warrington away. Signings have been bizarre Grix, Tansey etc Selections just as Strange - Lynne etc.

I enjoyed the game.

The team today let down the club, the coach, the fans and themselves. A totally gutless performance from a set that just weren't interested. It takes me back to the Bradford Bulls game at the time that John Kear took over and we were in a similar threatened position. JD & Co that day made you proud to be a trinity fan unlike those no-hopers that turned out today.

I suppose the writing was on the wall when Widnes made the break to score their opening try the Trinity players were 20 or so metres away scratching their s.



It says a lot but that was one of the worst performances I've ever seen, and after this season that's saying a lot.



I'm kind of now at the stage where I don't care whether we stay up or not. If we survive what have we got to look forward to? More pastings? If we drop down at least we might see some more competitive games.
