| Jones-Bishop was poor, that's not scapegoating. Wingers rushing in needslessly and leaving their berth wide open frustrates the hell out of me. Still the injury to Lyne disrupting that partnership wouldn't have helped.

| Have to agree about BJB.
I was Happy when he was signed but we're half way through season and still don't think he's had a really good game for us as yet
For me next week his spot should go to either Hall Owen or if for Tupou
I think worthy of a mention today Ash Gibson. Was a hadful throughout game6

| Came away feeling really positive today despite the loss. Hull didn't put a foot wrong all game and are clearly a cracking side this season, great to see some of our tries though they were again champagne rugby to watch.
Better team won on the day no question. Have to say though the scoreline certainly didn't reflect our boys efforts on the pitch it reflected just how inept Silverwood really is. Heads held high boys and on to Widnes for 2 points on Friday.

100% agree - sums up my feelings on the game.
Think people are being a bit harsh on BJB, Hull were piling down that side, targeting Finn & Molloy and were causing all kinds of problems, he had to come inside to get involved and just got caught out. Talanoa scored 4, but they were close, only one of them was a walk in, the others he managed to get down just as we laid a hand on him.

| Although BJB was caught out, I think it started going wrong when Lyne went off. I thought he was quite strong up to that point but they really attacked is there and it worked.
Still in the game late on and I thought we competed really well. Especially with Tupou forced off and clearly not right when he came back.
They were better than us but no shame there for me. They were at full strength and will be looking at top four be end of season.

| I think it was a good game and the best team won. That hull pack is special and I think that only the catalan pack can match them on their day. I thought minacello made a big difference for them when he came on.
Despite how good hull were we had chances to win the game and we perhaps needed a bit more composure in the 2nd half.
I thought miller played well and was a constant threat to them and I was pleased to see Gibson have a good game in both attack and defence.
I came away pleased as we gave 100% and ran a good team close but unfortunately on the day they were just a bit better than we were.

Spot on squire, and I'd just add that imo nobody let the side down.

| Great day out, and I agree that the final score was not fully reflective of the game. Fine margins often make a big difference i.e. Minichello's enthusiasm and Shauls running game and support play, best side won but it wasn't as easy as the score indicates. From a Hull perspective, I didn't think Silverwood was as biased as some Trin fans think, he was poor on a number of occasions for both sides with some baffling decisions.
Anyway all the best for the Super 8's

| Disappointed to lose, but just pleased to be enjoying watching the trinity again, which is much more important.
Hull look a decent shout to make a final this year, losing to them on that form is nothing to be ashamed of.

| It's unreasonable to be too disappointed with that result - the final score flatters Hull a bit, but they were deserving winners. I take a lot of positives from the fight back in the first half - last year we'd have rolled over, so to go in at half time all square was a brilliant effort.
The injuries took their toll - our shape and structure was disrupted and Hull took advantage of that; I have some questions about how those injuries occurred, and I reckon Ellis will probably miss a couple for his cheap shot on Toupou - which of course means that because Silverwood and his team missed it, will be of benefit to the next team they play and will mean absolutely zilch to us.
All in all it was a good game; and if, as many people thought, that was a genuine test of how far we've come, I think it's a positive indicator.
To the Hull fan on the toilet roof - well done, I'm sure your village missed its idiot for the afternoon.

| You put it better than I did Bren - I'm only disappointed as I want trinity to win every game, the difference between this time last year and now - worlds apart.
It showed how important a good kicker is. Sneyd was knocking them over from all angles, I was getting fed up with it. Not saying Finn is a bad kicker, but we missed 2 relatively easy kicks which would have given us an 8 point lead at the time. All ifs buts and maybes but maybe Hull got a lift from that who knows.
Roll on Widnes. If we play like we have been recently we have a good chance. And we owe them one after recent meetings.
