Keegan Hirst deserves a shot at SL based on his performances over the last couple of years, where he has in my opinion been in the top 2 or 3 props in the Championship.
Believe Tim Sheens was very keen on taking him to Salford this year but something happened that resulted in it falling through?
Late 20's now. Absolute prime for a prop forward. Would be happy with that.

Always thought Kris Welham was too good to drop down to the championship.

Keegan will thrive in the superleague about 5 yrs ago was watching batley and they had 2 giants up front in him and walmsley . St Helens took a gamble on 1 and look at him now the other went to fev and it didn't quite work out but imagine him in a full time environment with better players around him

Only if he is fit.... he could be Trinity's equivalent of Dave Taylor. At 6 ft 2 tall and 21 stone he could be a real impact prop off the bench at SL level... |
