Quote bren2k="bren2k"[uIt's unreasonable to be too disappointed with that result - the final score flatters Hull a bit, but they were deserving winners. I take a lot of positives from the fight back in the first half - last year we'd have rolled over, so to go in at half time all square was a brilliant effort.
The injuries took their toll - our shape and structure was disrupted and Hull took advantage of that; I have some questions about how those injuries occurred, and I reckon Ellis will probably miss a couple for his cheap shot on Toupou - which of course means that because Silverwood and his team missed it, will be of benefit to the next team they play and will mean absolutely zilch to us.
All in all it was a good game; and if, as many people thought, that was a genuine test of how far we've come, I think it's a positive indicator.[/u
To the Hull fan on the toilet roof - well done, I'm sure your village missed its idiot for the afternoon.'"
Was away all weekend so missed out, but from the highlights and what people have said I agree. Disappointed to lose because we were certainly right in there till late on, but on the whole pleased with how the team played, stuck at it and didn't let their heads go down.
We fought really hard to get back into the game in the 1st half, which alone shows how far we've come. Like you say injuries seemed to disrupt things in the 2nd half, which gave Hull that little bit extra that showed in the end on the scoreboard.
Apart from the injuries we can take a lot out of the game and move on.
