In all seriousness, Thursday night games are a bugger but unfortunately the RFL are under Sky's control really, they pump money into the game and therefore they have a right to dictate when games are played.



If only the RFL had a spine of some sort they should've looked into going into parter ship with the BBC or BT if only to make Sky sweat.



I think most of us prefer Sunday games, especially considering that's been the norm for a coup,e of years now.

Do i take it the 4th v 5th vital game is a week after the 7 games.



Trying to put other half off booking holiday until i know.

I would suspect that after the Saturday home games we will then be informed that they were a success regardless of the attendance. Then we will informed that following consultations with the supporters it was what we wanted and from next season we will kick off on Saturday afternoons or evening. If it follows the usual pattern none of us will remember ever being asked.

I am sorry but supporters have worked their lives around Sunday kick offs but once again we are presented with the change at the last minute much like the kick off times on a Sunday. I know some will have nothing better in their lives but sadly many won't and actually turn up at Wakefield because it did not clash with their other Saturday pastimes.

The local amateur open age games in pennine league KO at 2:30pm on Saturday afternoons so I would say that it would be a terrible decision to play regularly on a Saturday afternoon

TV games are on Saturday. Not our choice.



The players like Saturday games as it gives them a weekend with family. They are always training or limited to what they can do Saturday night for Sunday games.

The point is that people (like the two lads i know that don't have a wakey season ticket but go regularly) are not going to pay to go to BV when they either have a season ticket for Barnsley or can go to the football and watch the rugby on sky later as will be the case for the first game. Thus Wakeys attendances will likely be lower than they could have been.

Haha it's not mine! But family comes first.

With all these people, and people who know of people, who can't make it or won't go to games in the 8's or next year, it seems I can stand anywhere the chuff I like, and will have no trouble seeing all the action.

Wrong again I have a reserved seat in the East Stand so of course I will be required to occupy it and the seat next to me is booked. I would also add that I doubt there will be an East Stand to sit in if your friend and mentor has his way.

Your post seems somewhat contradictory, I seem to remember a couple of week ago that you were up in arms at the prospect of you being told where to stand by the stewards, what's that all about when you have a seat in the east stand.
