Please don't turn this into another slagathon. I'm just looking for those who still believe he is the man to tell me why. I can't for the life of me see why he is still in charge and just wondering if I'm missing some positives

| Strangely my Hubby does not blame the coach for our situation he blames the players...The surprising thing is my hubby is an ex-player and has coached for several years, he believes if we get knocked out on Sunday and finish out the top 8 Agar will be sacked though and rightly so, he also believes whoever we bring in our problems will go on as they are much deeper! Mind you my hubby thinks although Fitz is a great defender he could not count on one hand how many lines he has broken since he joined FC so cannot understand the fuss people make when Fitz does not play...my hubby would probably get banned from this board   |

Was anyone ever happy with him as our coach?
At the beginning of the season when we were truly awful, some were still trying to be positive and hoping he'd turn it around, but I don't think anyone was 'happy' (maybe EX PRO?).

was never happy with his appointment and gobsmacked he got given an extension, shown nothing in his 2 and a half years as a head coach to prove he has got what it takes, so NO from me

Because the man is a machine, complete professional and a role model for any player playing the game.
He's not and never has been in the team to break tackles, he was recruited for his leadership, aggression and team/work ethic. For this he is beyond reproach imo. Although I do feel that its time for Tickle to take over (both his position and captaincy) who will give us more mobility ala Gallen.
The fact we are impotent in attack doesn't help either. |

He'd probably make a decent scout but nothing much else . The board are as much to blame for appointing him in the first place .
