Maybe no, maybe yes, its a newco thats been formed, I may be wrong but that means all contracts are null and void, players free to sign where they wish. That said I think Bateman had gone to press saying his preference was to stay with the Bulls subject to SL status being retained. |

The contracts were only rendered null and void if the club was liquidated. It wasn't. A new company has bought the old one and contracts would normally transfer under TUPE rules - meaning that players [imight[/i be able to leave if they aren't offered exactly the same terms etc.
Also, SL status not yet confirmed beyond this season. If by some chance they get relegated then all bets are off. |

OK wasn't sure on that one, as mentioned twists and turns yet.
NewCo is OK Bulls Ltd (Omar Khan). Wonder if the ground will get re-named?
Suggestions: Curry Bowl, Rice Bowl, Begging Bowl or are we sticking with $hit 'ole |

In normal situations you can reject the TUPE and resign, not sure how that would work with sporting contracts though |

I tend to agree, but Sutcliffe's statement seems odd. I think what's happening is negotiations on how much of a cut to their Sky money the Bulls are going to get, with the threat of relegation being used as a bargaining position. |
