| Didn't think Leeds were anything special against Wigan, we've rested a few and hopefully some more players back to bolster the senior numbers.
Should be targeting this game and going all out to get a W against a side we'll be challenging for a top 4 spot so it's a 4 pointer.
Hoping for some better weather as last time I came up it was sub zero and deep snow when I left the home counties and just managed to get a train up.
I know it's a Thursday which makes it a bit rubbish all round but hopefully a decent crowd against our near West Yorkshire neighbours.
Think we'll sneak it by 4 points, us going ahead early and Leeds knocking on the door late to give us a nervous finish.

| Return fixtures start on Thursday and what a big one for us.
Having lost the away fixtures to Leeds, Cas, Saints and Wigan we must pick up the points at home or there's no chance of a play off place, especially with Warrington also looking good. A win over the Rhinos would be a real shot in the arm after a pretty modest season so far although it'd actually put us ahead of competition points for the same fixtures in 2017.
The weather is set to be warm and dry on Thursday which could suit us given that we tended to be better on a faster pitch in recent seasons.
Any news on Manu or Minichiello? I think Hadley is still a couple of weeks off returning.

| Looks a really tough game with half our starting pack missing. We’ve got some quality and form in the backs, need a huge shift from the forwards available to try and create a platform.

| I think we've got to stick with the same plan from Thursday of putting Griffin in the second row.
If Mini is back then I'd start him at left second row with Griffin to interchange with him. Hopefully Manu back too to strengthen that right edge.

If Manu is back, which I really hope he is, then that combats Leeds best player at the moment in Ablett.
Id be interested to see Conner and Ablett chirping away at each other for a decent chunk of the game.
Stevie Ward is a handful and Cuthbertson can punch holes up up the middle.
Should be interesting to see the squads come Tuesday

Get the impression that none of our starting back row (Manu, Hadley, Mini) will be available but hope I’m wrong.

Yes i would like to see that. With Hadley likely to be back it gives us a bigger and stronger second row and will allow Jordan lane to come off the bench
No doubt in my mind If Griffin ups his work rate and keeps his concentration as he tends to go to sleep at times he could become a very good second row.
