A fair and legal tackle punished by an incompetent ref who was determined to spoil the game. Wish we could import two or three Aussie refs into SL and get rid of the same old few who are way below the standard expected in our competition.

Tommy Lee went in and nearly took Briers head off last night, and stayed on the pitch!!! refs need sorting out...

Powell saying that the sending off wasn't what sparked London into life. What planet is he on?

If thats a red card the NRL should have 3 sent off every week! Appalling decision and could have cost us the game.

He did make contact with the head, but Rinaldi was dipping into it. If Rinaldi had been even a little more upright, Moa would have hit him square in the chest. Any other high tackle where the player is dipping/falling into it usually results in some leniency being shown to the perpatrator, but Bentham's nightmare last night meant this was always in danger of happening.

like gentle said, probably a reaction to other incidents missed by referees this weekend. Not a fan of the charge but you could see he didnt mean to hurt the guy. I wasnt keen on the cowardly drop on the prone player though, no need for that

Whatever grasp Silverwood had on the game was lost at that incident. It was the TJ who determined the dismissal and Gentle probably called it correct when he said "I think the dismissal was a hangover from other incidents this weekend".



If I was the Hull club, I'd take very careful note of what is written in the officials' report of the incident. I have a strange feeling that not the whole truth may be in there.



Either way, it will be a "Not Guilty" (as in not even SoS) verdict.
