Its derby week, nerves are tingling and we need to smash the red & white sh--tes....BUT DO WE?



I'm feeling quite relaxed about this derby game. Anyone who really thinks we have a real chance of winning this IMO are misguided.



We have a massive injury list, playing a 'retired' player, playing a new comer with 40mins under 20's playing time, alledgedly another 2 players injured, 3 players with less than 9? SL games between them, 7 possible players who will be experiencing there 1st REAL derby match...were in a mess.



Lets hope for 'we turn up and just win attitude from the oppo'....the 'ref' has a stinker and helps us out...Stevo and Eddie go for a easy KR win.



This is a Hull v KR derby I suppose and anything can happen.





But were a new breed this season, maybe, just maybe.......

We seemed to be going so well injury wise then its all just hit us at once,





We have a chance, although Rovers id think they won't want to fall to far behind the top 8 after losing to Castleford.

At the end of the day all the winner will receive is 2 points, it will not determine our full season, always maintained out of the 2 games I would take Hudds, presently top in the league and more likely to be near us come the end of the season, however with the injuries it maybe too much to ask on Monday.

I am already dreading a sock fest if they win

Let them get on with it, will no doubt be the highlight of their season!

A team 2nd in the league with a game in hand, 7/8 first teamers to come back into the team, a coach that doesn't WHINGE, an Owner who doesn't WHINGE, average fan base over 10,000 (

), commercial sales into the millions, a workable debt, a first class stadium.....need i go on.



So, we lose...it's 2 points....at least we haven't won at Wembley yet.





Just pray we don't pick up anymore serious injuries...that's what I hope for.

TBH both sets of fans are being so "un"confident about winning, I'm tempted not to go. Sounds like it will be a shocker

Im pretty confident still they have a few out aswell but have had a chance to get used to it. Winning mentality is worth lots. The pressure will be on them to get a result so they don't fall too far behind and also that they would be expected to beat a weakened Hull who are having to play a coach to make up the numbers.



We know that, whatever happens, we have plenty of players to come back so won't be a disaster. Should we win however.......

My brother in law manages a bookies, and Seymour goes in from time to time. He was speaking to him today, and Seymour doesnt seem confident "a lot of troops out" etc. Hopefully he is just playing it down and comes out and has a stormer.



I think it will come down to whoever wins the kicking game, will take the match. We need to kick deep with a good chase, tire Paea out as i would rather him run at us from his 30metre than ours. Then ensure we pressure the kicker at all times, make him rush the kick, so it is less accurate and we can run onto the ball, rather than have to turn to run for the ball and struggle to get out our half. Need all the backs (and we have some strong runners) to help the pack out on Friday.

More interested in beating Leeds twice this season. A loss against Rovers will be a blip like losing to Salford. Every dog has it's day as they say and Rovers are playing us at the best time for them.
