As much as I don't want to believe it, I can't help thinking it was a petty act by FC to get KR's captain, either that or Gentle was doing a mate a favour.

Have to say I had my doubts when we signed him but was still fairly hopeful his signing would improve us but in all honesty it looks to me as though he is already playing one season too many and feel he should have stayed in retirement.

The fact that a new contract remains unsigned almost a year after one was offered suggests that Tickle will be moving on.



I'd prefer him to stay but we have cover in the back row so it's no disaster should he leave.



I wouldn't be surprised if his signing for Widnes for next season was announced soon after May 1st.

Not that fussed if he stays or goes to be honest, he's a decent player and a top goal kicker...but at the same time he's another player who's been at the club years and we haven't achieved anything in that time, and he's 30 next month.

Think galea has been steady, think when ellis comes back he will drop to the bench, still think he can be a good squad player for us, but not a starter
