| Sundays are much better if you live or work out of town. Friday nights are a nightmare for away fans too. Really dissapointed with the lack of consultation on this switch!

| it's a minority of fans that work out of town(by a significant distance) and so it's those fans that lose out for something which most other prefer

| i read they did the survey at the recent 9s tournament at the YPI, two of us attended that evening, staying until the end and nobody approached us, maybe they chose a 'select number'! maybe if the club posted out forms mid season for us to give our opinion we would get a clearer view, unfortunatly whichever day/night the club chooses they will upset some fans, myself i prefer sundays to friday evenings

I can't believe people are still arguing that sundays are better, either from a lifestyle view or a business view, it's OBVIOUS most supporters prefer a Friday night! Give it a rest for fooks sake!!! The best supported home teams in sl play Friday nights, away support is e from most teams anyway, so who cares about them, it's a win win for me Friday nights, gives me sat sun been a slave to the family yippppppeeeeee

Then we moved to Fridays, the atmosphere improved and most preferred it as they had a Sunday free.

| Friday nights for me as we usually receive 2 live TV league games a week here which are never Sunday matches so would never see Hull live at home. This week we have Wigan v Hull starting at 0500 hrs Saturday morning and on Tues morning the Warrington/Saints match.

Follow your own advice, it is far from obvious what most supporters prefer, maybe the majority of people posting on RLFans prefer Friday (although even that seems more of an even split), the best supported teams in SL are SUCCESSFUL, it has little to do with what night they play.

And there was I thinking this was an open forum to discuss which day we'd rather have home games on

To be fair, Leeds have been on Friday nights virtually since SL's inception, they only won their first championship in 04. Wigan only had the 02 CC to show between their 98 and 2010 titles.
The move tp Fridays lifted their gates is lean trophy years.
Of course the exception to this would be Bradford. Played Sundays, won loads in the first 7 years of SL. But hardly the model to follow.

just to point out, the person you are replying to is 17, so obviously there opinion on game days is going to be different from someone who is 35 with two young kids who lives in Hull, who will also have a different opinion to someone who is 65 and lives in Edinburgh and commutes by train, which again differs from someone who is 40 ish and commutes from Worcester, which is why a mix is the best option for everyone.
