So by your logic, if Mr Agar was successful with Hull FC, even if Mr Webster was a yes man, that would make him a great assistant coach then? Regardless of the input he had, by association he must be great? Don’t get me wrong, I’m as happy as any fan Agar has finally gone. However, people assume too much on here and state opinion as fact when in most cases it’s not founded on any evidence whatsoever.

Agar was sacked because of performances Webster was his assistant coach, since Webster arrived I have seen no evidence that Webster offered anything to us that resulted in our performances improving. No change the same old dross.



So prior to Webster dross with Webster dross nothing changed.

I think you may have missed my point slightly, I’m not saying you were wrong, it’s just that your opinion is based on assumption rather than anything else. That’s what I was challenging. Anyway we both want the best for Hull FC and I actually agree that perhaps a coaching change from top to bottom is the answer.

I know the club have high regard for Webbo.Who is to say he won't have success as Gentles assistant.Only time will tell if it works out for him but i do think he deserves a chance working with a new coach.

Would like the decisions on the backroom staff to be down Gentle to sort out. We may see some movement in that area in November when he arrives. Hard to judge Webster as we don't know the situation, very hard for someone to get to aggressive trying to get their opinions across and change things especially when the head coach has a history of getting rid of his assistants.

Agreed, If Hull FC announce that Webster is staying after everything has been looked at between Pearson, McRae and Gentle and they feel he is worth keeping then that is good enough for me. They are in a far better position to judge his coaching abilities from working within the club than us.

You've clearly not been watching then. The style of rugby has been far better this season, not 5 drives and a kick like it was previously.



Neither I or you (despite your cliam of evidence) and or anyone else on here knows the contribution that Webbo has made. I'll wait for Gentle to decide as he will know exactly what he wants from a no.2 and what Webster has to offer.
