Not that I post much on here but, out of curiosity, does the club offering the deal have to pay the difference to keep in with the spirit of the shared pot?



Eg: If the regular prices are 2 x adults = £40, 2 x kids = £20 and they get a free kids tickets family deal for £40, would the club have to pay for the "missing" £20?



Maybe they expected bigger crowds and, should the above be the case, didn't wish to foot the bill when wanting a cut of the total?

No the Clubs only share the total money taken for the games If I remember both Clubs have to agree the price for that game

TBH , I think it was a poor showing from the Hudds fans after what Davy has done for the club in the past.

May be a rethink is needed. The Rugby League usually markets quite well especially for Wembley, Grand Final and Internationals.



For starters I'd revert to a Top Six Play Off, as 7th and 8th are nowhere. I'd then market the initial games for £10 leading up to Old Trafford. Defo time for a change though if Wigan v Saints can only get 12,000.

I agree. Davy is stumping up a fortune to keep attendances 'artifically' up at the Galpharm. Make you wonder how long he will keep it up.
