Too far away for me to see I wouldn't know. What was the Wire claim ? That we had knocked on or that the ball had gone dead ?

| Quote Staffs FC="Staffs FC"First up we cost ourselves the game with 2 really sloppy plays that gifted Warrington a point.
With regard to Ganson that was what I call classic 'Top 4' refereeing. All was fairly even until Hull went in front early second half. After that every 50/50 call went to the 'Top 4' team and we got precisely nothing. In particular the penalty that was pinged against us first half for a ball steal on Riley but similar incidents for O Meley and Mckinnon (first one not the second fair knock out) were deemed as knock ons. His gut reaction was to give Wire head and feed after their blatant knock on.'"
Have to agree. For the last 20 minutes every time the ball came loose in the tackle it was a knock on when Hull did it and a ball steal when it was Warrington. There is no way that was actually the case. How many sets did they have leading up to Evans' try? Felt like about 8 out of the last 10 through 'knock-ons', 'ball steals', or offsides.

| I know we didn't lose, but it's worse when you lose because the ref has cost you the game from poor decisions. I'd rather get beat 50 nil because we've played poorly than the ref cost us the game.

As the players jumped up for the ball, it seems Briscoe knocks it forward, then touches it down. It hadnt gone dead, however I deffo see it as a knock on. The touchy clearly indicates no try and Ganson then overules him. The touchy then appears to shake his head in disbelief at the decision.

| My first impression was Briscoe knocked it on, but seeing it back on the big screen looks like Monaghan (or someone else from wire) got their hand to it and not Briscoe.

I couldn't tell who got the first touch and wasn't entirely sure which direction it initially went, but I'm pretty sure Evans clawed it back towards the dead ball line at the 2nd attempt.

| Thought one of McKinnon's breaks should have stood, said knock on but seemed to go backwards?

Didnt the touch judge signal a Warrington drop out?

| Briscoe grounded the ball before the dead ball line but I'd be stunned if he didnt get a hand to the ball and knock it on when the contending for the ball with Evans.

| just seen the try on sky sports, nothing wrong with the grounding, if it was a knock on, the linesman would have indicated it, he didn't, he waved for a tap on the 20 for wire, ganson, correctly over ruled his linesman
