But yes not looking forward to the game (yes I am attending) Lyne does not fill me with confidence at all and we've just got too many players missing to even come close in my opinion.

Give the guy a chance. Lyne looked good against Rovers at fb for a while before he got clobberred (admittedly due to poor technique). We'll judge after he's played there a few times in the first team

The best thing that can happen for Lyne is that should he make a mistake, you lot support him instead of getting on his back.

Whilst I can understand the points some of the posters have made in here about Lyne, it's never good for confidence for the fans to get on a players back, especially someone so young, and not with a lot of experience.



BUT for me Lyne has proved many times, last season in particular that his main weakness is positioning and pressure under the high balls, I remember last season when we played Bradford at home, he took about 2 or 3 out of 8 high balls in. The fans around me was all shouting agar to get him off lol.



We have not really seen much of him this season, so under Gentle, we may see a player rejuvenated with confidence * let's hope *. I think if he learns to sort his positioning out, and stops getting sucked in field too easily, he could be a good player with more experience.



But he needs to gain some weight! haha

Unless u go to the game I cant see how u can call anyone. As long as the lads give 100% I will be happy. To be where we are now with the team we have is fantastic. Im not gonna call anyone. Come on you Ulllaaahhhhh

Wudnt like to say cos last yr pass holders got first cup game free but its just kids this time so depends who can afford it. Hudds dont bring many fans. Prob between 8 to 10 thousand no more but I might be wrong

all that though was on the right wing position which made sharp one of the most ridiculed n hated players i've know at hull,an he was much more experienced. But he's turned the corner in magnificent style. At 19 n under a new coach think Reece deserves a fair chance in a new position! Never known so much knife sharpening and a desire for one of our own lads to fail so some can get proven right,even if it costs us a knock out cup game!

Got to say though, despite all our injuries it is brilliant to see so many off our young prospects warming up who have gone through our youth system.

What I'd like to see is how Lynne goes about his kick return, with his pace and providing he can catch the ball (and the crowd stay off his back if he does a mistake) could be a shrewd move.



I'm well aware though it has the potential to be a car crash.
