Westerman had one good season when he first came on the scene and has been ordinary ever since. Not a bad player, but not a particularly good one either. Wouldn't be sorry to see him go elsewhere.

Get him out wide and get our back row rotating doing 60 mins each.



Then we'll see the best of him.

I'd prefer to see a team full of robots myself that make no mistakes in defence and only ever do brilliant things in attack. Of course they'd have to be playing against teams that never did anything inventive in attack. That Dobsom is so predictable I can't imagine how he even gets a spot in any superleague team.

That team that plays during the opening title credits for a SKY game always looks handy.

I find them a bit predictable though, wonder if their kicker gets fed up of them only ever scoring right on the touchline?

She doesn't care where they score the tries - never misses.

True but wouldn't mind their conditioner at our club.

He seems to only be able to defend if he flies out of the line which you obviosuly cant do every tackle. Also a penalty machine and doesent really get over the advantage line with carries.



On a plus he has a good step, good ball handling and can read the game in attack well. Also seems very passionate. Makes you wonder if he should be a 2nd row or a 6/13.

its a bit different im not a fan of westerman but he did play well against the dobbins

As soon as he gets a good run as a ball-handling loose-forward, Westerman will come good. He is very much a leader and could be our captain for years.

i know its a tad off topic on this thread but just watched the match back for about the 10th time on sky plus LOL and have to say that the work rate from Westerman and Aspinwall was terrific , well done to both

Certainly agreed regarding Aspinwall. I wasn't overjoyed when we signed him, but barring Sam Moa, nobody has taken the ball up with more aggression or enthusiasm for us this season.
