Someone in the know at the club should have made it clear that they didn't really want to have another warm up game , that they were doing it only for Whiting but weren't too fussed about that either and the majority of first teamers would p1ss about for 10 or 15 minutes before we'd throw a bunch of kids on , most of whom won't make it any level in the game , to be humiliated whilst the fans and Whiting looked on in dismay. No one going to the game wouldn't have been great for Rich's bank balance and putting on the show they did ain't going to be great for his or our memory banks. Hell I've got a pass and I'm wondering whether it's worth going to the Catalans game.

i know its a friendly and can't get to carried away with result but i can't help thinking this would'nt happen to wigan.at the end of the day wether their training or playing friendlies thier fulltime pro's.i'd expect this under the softly softly gentle approach but radford was brought in to change the attitude and taking culture at our club.after bradford and now this it looks like he's got hell of a job infront of him.the result may not matter but your own personal performance always should.

I am a big whiting fan but why didn't they use the kr game has the testimonial, the point I am trying to get across is that apart from the physical tests and trying of combinations which radders has done not all working out but at least he can work on what is going wrong rather than trying to fix things when the real season starts. imo trial games are trial games and you shouldn't be charged to watch these, apart from whiting's testimonial, we pay enough out going to home and away games all season

Exactly - particularly applicable to some supposed established first teamers. You could say the same about Leeds as well. It's about how players prepare themselves physically and mentally - some of ours can't hack it over a consistent period of games IMO.

Radders should name the players that are cheating the fans and that went into the Fev game with I'm not gonna get injured mentality !
