Bemused at the fascination with forwards !! We have consistently, under Radford, had no issues advancing the ball up the field. We have HUGE issues in getting the ball over the line & showing some attractive play.



Our backs are currently slow, so we lose 4 by my reckoning - Lineham, Rankin, Sa & Yeoman ( now a second rower ? ) - Fanua & Carlos represent upgrade on first two but still woefully short - please some PACE ! There's got to be another hooker surely - Brad Dwyer available ?

Not much quality out there, that's the problem, how many others have signed top class outside backs, I'd be surprised if any SL clubs signany better than Fonua.



If we sign Manu or first choice pack will be the best in SL, backs are a bit of a gamble but look better than thus year on paper.



Hooker is a concern I agree.

It's an amazing pack! Exciting times, we have some good youngsters coming through, especially Abdull who for his age looks like he could be a class player in the future.

As many have said hooker is a concern if DH sustains a long term injury.

He doesn't do getting Injured, we'll be fine. (probably just cursed him now) Pack is looking very impressive, just prey Ellis gets himself right

Anyone who we should be looking at tiring down long term?



I'd be looking at HTW, Abdul and Logan.



If Westerman plans to leave us at the end of next year I'd be tempted to sell him now and get a fee.



I be also look to sign Houghton on a long deal.

Abdull will make that 13 shirt his own soon enough. He won't be halfback. His kicking game is powerful but inaccurate.



Westerman really has been overrated, with just a handful of decent games to his name. Thompson has been the better buy from Cas. If we can get coin, let Leeds have Westerman.

Westerman must surely be going.



Looking at those arriving from NRL there is no way we are anywhere near balancing the salary cap on current departures. Lower paid players going won't do it, would need to be a higher earner.



Given numer of back rows we now have, Radford's (correct) attempts to professionalise the club and that we could get a fee this year, Westerman going makes sense.
