Like most I have been drunk though, and my point is so have many and yet they know how to behave, maybe my idea of being drunk is different to others, I for one have never being that drunk I am not aware of what happened or what I said etc.
Not sure where this is going as my orignal reply is that I saw no problem with players having a few drinks, not once did I suggest they get plastered..Most adults/players are aware of how many drinks to consume without resorting to binge drinking, and I am sure most players enjoy one or two pints on a w/end after a game.'"

What every Rugby League should have along side their Drug Testing is an Alcohol test ..When players
turn up for training a random test should be done if found to be over the limit then Disciplinary action should be
implemented ..It is a way round the drinking culture ..Anything is worth a try.

1st offence whilst with us,and until the truth is revealed as to what has happened,i wont call for his sacking.IF he has committed a serious offence then he could be looking at jail again,which then obviously i would back the calls for his sacking.At the moment it's all guesswork by everyone,so best waiting to see what happens. |

I have been around a lot longer then 50 years and I have never even been spoken too by an officer of the law. I have however in the course of my work and the bench seen loads over the years. Most D&D get an £80 fixed penalty ticket these days you see it in most cities and towns across the land every Saturday night. I have seen many differing people from down and outs to solicitors making a of themselves.
It was Saturday night and no training on Sunday, so no issue there.
WE HAVE NO REAL IDEA AS TO WHAT HAS HAPPENED YET AND HERE WE ARE AGAIN WITH LOTS OF SPECULATION AND I GUESS THATS MY POINT.................... |

We do have [usome[/u idea. He's been charged by the police with being drunk and disorderly in a public place. The very day The Sun ran an interview with him, about his two criminal convictions earlier this year, that said this:
The Great Britain international said: "It makes me appreciate what I've got much more, and what I could've lost. I've come out more mature and responsible for my actions. Now, with a new attitude, he is eager to repay Hull's faith. "For me now, it's a case of treasuring every day and every game."
Whilst he is innocent until proven guilty, it looks completely cack. |

I hope there is some sort of club discipline measure taken because at the moment it looks like ' be a model pro and get Christmas day and boxing day off, be a tool and get the whole holiday fortnight off '
