I think the novalty of the fixture as wore off a bit with both sets of fans. Would imagine to the clubs, it's a bit of a cash cow fixture, kerching

I'm a bit uncomfortable with it all tbh. I agree that over the last few years things have probably got a little childish between the 2 clubs but Hudgell has been at the hub of all these things and now all of a sudden he wants everything to be rosy between the 2 clubs, lets get this right he hates us with a passion.

No fussed on the preseason friendly as we already play them 3 times a season anyway.
The joint Hull team I am also not a fan of and not sure what purpose it would serve to either team or England.
Better cooperation is all well and good and I have no real issues with that. I just don't see how it will manifest itself in terms of youth development or sponsorship.

| Having read the article... I must admit last evening I was a bit dubious and uncomfortable with the thoughts of these two meeting up... but one line says it all for me:
"Insisting their on-field rivalry will remain as fierce as ever, they say the "undermining" of one another, which has been evident in recent seasons, must stop"
Glad to have Derby Day back as a pre-season...
...not sure with the England match... but it'd be good to watch.
On a positive note nice to see Pearson made him come across the River for the meet up  |
