Not defending any teams idiots, but last time it happened to one of your coaches about 4 years ago it was on the flyover and it was proved it wasn't Hull fans, just mindless youths who had been loitering around West Park. The policy regarding the coaches was changed after this incident, as soon as the coaches are now ready to leave, the cars around the stadium bowl are stopped from moving and the coaches can then get a straight run out of the stadium.

Some of us keep saying that but it never seems to sink in.

East stand is populated with people who a) never went to the Boulevard and b) people who never stood in 3d stand. There was more to the boulevard than a wooden stand. As a result you will never recreate it at the KC with or without seats.

But don't let me stop people starting threads like this every month.

It's not. But it can be it's own stand in it's own right. I have been in the same seat in South since KC opened, but agree that fans seem to be afraid to let go and make noise. Fans cheer for winning teams, will take a while for the atmospheres to come back.

Shouldn't be this way but IMO the singing and chanting died during the big swearing crackdown at the Boulevard. We don't seem to get songs about players any more either - all we get now is Yeamo Yeamo Yeamo. South Stand takes our cues from East Stand but don't get much started - probably because 60% of the seats around me are occupied by kiddies nursing fruit shoots.

According to a caller on Radio Humberside there's some people in the East stand who are a disgrace for slagging off a player.
