Think the preseason matches have given Lee the chance for every one to show how him much they have improved since last season and put pressure on him to pick them. From what I've seen our best team is the one against Rovers in the first half. Didn't see anyone from the fringe players stand out. It is obvious that some of the younger players are not quite ready yet for regular super league , although there are one or two that will not let us down if called into the first team.
Yes it is disappointing that that we didn't win all the games. Were the Wigan,St Helens and Warrington fans saying there coaches don't know what they are doing when they lost? Come on today's match was a good chance for the younger players to be tested against super league opposition.
Let us see how we perform in the for real matches where it really matters before we start calling for the coaches head.
Must admit though I am not too confident at the moment in how we will do until we've got some wins under our belt.
