Given the team a lot of stick over the last couple of weeks, but credit where it is due, they couldn't really have done much better today.



hope Shaul keeps his place as it sounds like he adds much needed pace and creativity to the team.



the big challenge is to back this up against a very physical Catalan team.

Some real defensive grit in the 2nd half. Shaul should take a bow, Horne and Azza both effective. Gamebreaker was a lovely long kick through by Horne when we were 8 points up I think and we chased really well to force the dropout. Whiting limping with ice on his ankle at the end, that's a worry.

After the first fifteen minutes you played a really well structured and organised game. Well worth your win, well played.

Halfbacks playing at the line - wow just imagine what a top half could do who does that for his living - it really does make a big difference. Seems to be yet more evidence elsewhere today of what happens when leaders (halves) are removed from a team. Well done Lynchy on coming back in you were badly missed on Friday. And well done to the coach for bringing in yet another youngster to debut in the first team - right call to do it today and not on Friday. Have to put right the last home display on Sunday now.

Needed the two points desperately and feared the worst when went 10-0 down . Think it shows when you play players in proper positions it pays dividends . Was very impressed with Shaul in pre-season and know speaking to his family he's being desperate for his chance last few weeks since Mcdonnell injured.

Only been back in training after injury for a week so even more impressive.
