Hand on heart I didn’t really enjoyed the game as it happened, I was just too tense. In fact the last 5 minutes felt that surreal I actually didn’t realise where I was. Not until Mini dived onto the loose ball did I come around. When the game was over I was more relieved than jubilant, only when the music staring playing and Gaz lifted the Cup did I really let myself go, danced a Dad dance with my girls (has Coldplay ever sounded so good?). When we got outside of the stadium I felt absolutely shattered and drenched with sweat, like I’d had a good kicking. All that said I wouldn’t have changed a thing, it was perfect.
