He has gone to be closer to his Tongan friends.
Willie is very close to Moa who is leaving.He is also very close to Lauaki and Tevita Vaikona who have both left the area.When he says family reasons,I believe him.
When I played for Tevita's touch rugby side a couple of years ago,all the Tongans where always there.
They are a very close knit group.

I find the disrespect from some fans staggering. And the paranoia of some always thinking there is some hidden reason just plain boring.
Manu (or Manu's family) are losing their support net work. The south sea islanders and maori's are incredibly close and do most things as a collective group.
If it was about money he would have stayed at Hull.

Why do fans have a problem with Manu?
He's gone for probably more money, to SL's most successful side, with a coach who has a proven track record of improving players and where he also has some good friends.
He owes us nothing and has been superb for us.
I don't wish him luck with Saints but I hope he continues to play well.

It's like the Dobson thing, he was the greatest player to touch a ball before Rovers, many on here would have sold children for him. Then he signs for them and people have him on a par with Marquis Charles |

Brown has nothing to do with the amount of disrespect some fans have shown Manu.
Manu has been fantastic at Hull, he has also being a model professional whilst with us, the guy has moved on for whatever reason so what, nothing he has done warrants the behavior by some imo. |
