Great start so far. Shame about the Salford game but we didn't expect to beat saints or get a point against wire. Not getting to carried away because we have played the majority of the bottom sides and most clubs have played against 3 or 4 top 8 opposition.

Not getting carried away but it's nice to see us there and thereabouts in the top half of the league table (and the east side =#FF0000chaps outside the play-offs too!)

At 8pm on Sat 5th May we will know exactly where we will finish !



We will be a better side in the 2nd half of the season as well ,so if we are 2nd on May 5th then we will finish 2nd I reckon or dare I even suggest TOP ?

I still think that Leeds, Warrington and Wigan will be the top 3, I think we have a decent chance of finishing 4th this year, along with Saints, Hudds and Catalans.



I would be happy with 5th/6th this year.

Could well be second if we win on Friday.



It's nice but it's a false position for me just now, I would still be happy with 5/6th at the end of the season. Good thing is we have improvement in us and players like Yeaman, Heremaia, Westerman and Ogre to come back. Plus some youngsters have been getting gametime which bodes well.

I know its wrong to think like this but having had 4 years of Agar im still waiting for our customary implosion. Far to often under Agar we had good display followed by terrible display.

I would be happy just to keep improving, keep the desparation in our D and the table will take care of its self

Bradford could be a potential banana skin. They're in good form away from home, seem to be able to score at the end of games and are hurting after this weekend.

We have a tendency to switch off in the last quarter (especially at home), and have played fairly well on too many occasions for it to continue! We're due a slip up.

Thats just what I mean we think that because of what we've been served up under Agar. I just think and hope PG has this team better prepared mentally and physically.

I'd rather we just crept along under the radar for the time being. Let the team bud towards a strong finish at the end of the season and see where it takes us.

Oh well - defeat against Bradford now....

Agree with this - and if all we get is a seriously strong, committed team, playing attractive winning rugby for 2013, then it will still be well worth it.

Happy with the position so far and as long as we actually compete against the "bigger" teams I will be happy for this season.
