I find some of the comments on this thread by fellow Hull fans quite crass really.



The first thing some of you thought about was raiding their best talent, and taking advantage of the dire situation over there at Bradford. Rugby League community?



I remember a few years ago (maybe 10 years ago now) when Wakefield were in trouble, and even though we weren’t playing them that day, a lot of FC fans went to Belle Vue to offer their support (and brought with them some much needed revenue). How times have changed and some attitudes along with it.



As for people justifying it by bringing up the Radford move – give over.

The whole thing is corrupt, the RFL awarded Bull a B grade! then bought the stadium to bail them out, then they signed a player for a 5 yr deal a week ago!! and now they are out with the begging bowls, time for a stint NL1 me thinks...

Not entirely sure what these points have to do with my post that you quoted? My post was aimed towards attitudes of those that wanted to get their pound of flesh and take advantage of their situation - not whether they should lose their license or not.

Let's have their best players then. Feel sorry for their fans, not a good situation at all, but have to think about our own progress.

Well now is the best time to go in for players, they are up the creek and stand a very strong chance of going into administration, if they sell now they have a chance to keep their club!

Are you suggesting Bradford have never gone in for players when a club was struggling ? Its sport you win some and you lose some, if teams cannot hold their own at this level move down and make way for those who can.

Didnt they get a wildcats player like we did with obst when they went into admin? Look at it this way if we pay for there players then it helps Bradford out.

I'm having a go at the immediate repsonse by a few on here, and the excitement at potentially raiding them for their best players. It's not what our sport should be about, and I thought we as a group of fans were better than that.



As for your last point - I agree. If teams can't hold their own, they should make way, but again, that's not really the point I'm making.

It is what our sport is about though......it is dog eat dog to get players to sign for a club, this is not amateur this is the big boy league, clubs get the best players a all costs, and on this occasion it is at the cost of a club who cannot afford to compete in the league.

They are our competition. If their loss can be our gain, then so be it. It's hard on their fans, but I didn't see a big queue of opposition supporters lining up to help us out when things got bad. Neither did I expect to.
