Agree with this I think O Meley will be very hard to replace and has been a very good player for us. Against Leeds he came on and started knocking Leeds' forwards around as well as choosing the offload at the right times. I would like O Carroll to take this role but haven't seen enough yet to suggest he can - Aspinwall is a game player who I like but lacks the physical presence O Meley offers. Shame O Meley probably wont be around another year IMO.

Agree with everything you have said, I can see why the club havn't offered him a deal though, as he seems to be picking up a few injuries and won't be on low money.



O Meley IMO has been an excellent signing for Hull though and will be hard to replace.

Did the radio say that I listened and didn't hear that, it did say that they were poor though along with a few others players, Tickle sounded the worst offender of mistakes.

didn't say it outright, just the impression I got, I think Gentle being away didn't help, 2 points are 2 points, but it sounds like we could have had a kicking from a better team.

No arguments there. All teams have these type of games, I would guess that our completion rate was about 50%, while theirs was over 90% and they got most of the penalties, so it's good to come out with the two points.



As I have said on the Rovers thread this performance will do us good in the long term.

I think that's harsh and probably RH looking for a story that isn't there. The second try came on the back of a vintage Manu break down the middle of the field and Turner was very close to a length of the field intercept try in the first half.



Overall it was typical Hull FC against London, and typical Hull FC playing a poor team two weeks after beating a good one. Apart from that 13 win run right at the start of Sharp's reign I can never recall it being any different in the modern era. We just don't seem to be able to instil that professional attitude in our teams.
