Thought the sending off was a bit harsh but at the end of the day he raises his forearm and knocks a player unconscious. Finally someone says it. Same as when Wigan fans call the '14 GF a "moral victory" because of the sending off. Often teams up their game to account for the missing man and often teams with the advantage slack off so it's absolutely impossible to say so. |

It's as though you think we haven't all seen the replay that shows his elbow moving upwards and away from his body. Look, I don't think it was malicious and while the red was a bit harsh it's also one of those decisions that you just can't complain about when they go against you. I'm sure the disciplinary will decide SOS. Trying to mislead anyone into thinking his arm was "tucked in" is just plain stupid though as we can all see otherwise with our own eyes. |

But... Any malicious intent came from Mac. Watts raising arm purely instinctive with no intent. I think the seriousness of injury was a deciding factor in the dismissal, game on TV, video ref in his ear. Micky Mac is an old type RL fixer. He wants to "sort" one or two opposition hard men out, but what comes round goes round. Incidentally, I don't think Micky will blame Watts, but it will go in the memory bank.
