I might be but I'd guess that 100k a season isnt that too extreme.

| First of all I am glad Brett is out of hospital and hope he gets well soon.
Whatever people think about his performances he's always given 100% for Hull FC on the field and he deserves to be supported by the club.
It didn't work out for him at the weekend but, let's be honest, no-one covered themselves in glory. I still think given a steady run in the side alongside Holdsworth, and behind a pack that's going forward, he has the quality to do well.
I'd certainly pick him ahead of Heremaia and Nicklas in the halves and so whilst I don't necessarily think he's the long term answer at 7, I hope he makes a speedy recovery and at least gives Gentle an option later in the season.

That's the problem though he doesn't look as though he has been trying his hardest if anything he looks as though its the opposite and that he doesn't even want to be on the pitch anymore.
The main reason why people were so impressed with McGoldrick last season was down to how clear it was he was trying his hardest in everything he did and looked genuinely bothered.

I agree with this completely.
I hope that he makes a good recovery to whatever the problems are.
So far, he's put in some good performances and he's put in some bad performances for Hull FC. Initially, when he first came over, I thought that his performances were generally pretty good. However, the average has definitely gone down since then. However, I think that he has been unfair made a scapegoat and that people are going to games expecting him to do badly rather than putting their support behind him whilst he wears the black and white. There have been several players in recent weeks that have not pulled their weight.

This is a good point. The same went for Calderwood, too. Some people considered his signing a bit questionable but he ended up winning supporter's player of the year due to the fact that he would give 100% in everygame and would chase down every lost ball.

| Quote Rock God X="Rock God X"Another one who engages in idle speculation without knowing a damned thing about the inner workings of the club. For all you know, he's received endless support from the coach and the owner but still hasn't performed as he ought to have done. I don't know if that is the case, but equally, it's impossible to say that it's not unless you're:
a) Brett Seymour
b) Peter Gentle
c) Adam Pearson
d) Derek Acorah.'"
Unless we have not been told about the demise of A, B or C then I don't think D would know either.

| I have no reason to think that Seymour would purposefully give less than 100%.
Unfortunately, if that is his 100% optimum level, then it s bye bye and good riddance. He wouldn't get in any other SL side barring Salford perhaps.

| Quote Large Paws="Large Paws"One aspect of my work is attending at accident scenes. I (and I suspect everyone else on here) have no idea what happened in this incident.
Whatever the circumstances, I can tell you it is possible to hit two parked cars, and flip your car over whilst travelling at little more than 30mph, I know because I attended just such an accident last year, and fortunately, as it seems is the case here, there was no serious injury to those involved. It turned out to be a minor error of judgment by the driver'"
A girl in my school managed it at about 15mph the day after she passed her test, in some freak occurrence involving hitting the wheel (left turned out) of the parked car, right outside school.
Nothing was hurt except feelings. And the car.

| Seemed to me on Saturday that he wasn't too bad up until he threw that speculator out, then just lost any confidence in himself and/or his ability. Then the harder he seemed to try to make up for that error the worse things got.
Just hope he's ok. He has ability but for some reason just can't seem to put it in on game day.
