Agree with this - and if all we get is a seriously strong, committed team, playing attractive winning rugby for 2013, then it will still be well worth it. |

Yes but the games earlier in a season are not much of a barometer. Also you have to take into account Wire back in the country less than a week and a Saints team under performing for the coach. I am not putting a downer on the season as barring the Salford game we have got the wins, but I am also not going to get carried away just yet. Think once we have played Leeds on the 5th of May we will have a good idea how our season is going to pan out.
April and early May will show us how far the team have come this season, we have 4 tough league games (Rovers/Hudds/Wigan/Leeds) and a cup tie in between them. |

Really pleased and tbh not sure where we will finish, there are things to improve and if we can address these then who knows a possible top 4 finish...
I would be happy if we could achieve top 6 and have a decent run in the play-offs and a good challenge cup run.

Yes fourth at best, 5th or 6th is more realistic but it is nice to enjoy it whilst it happens.

The worry for me is, if we lose a few games and drop to 5/6/7th, a lot of the fans who are maybe getting a little bit carried away and have unreal expectations from our solid start, will start to get on the players backs.
I hate to say it, but we are due a loss. We haven't been great in any games (majority of Widnes aside) and its possible we could come down with a bump. But as an earlier poster said, we have become accustomed to inconsistency under Agar and maybe Gentle and co will eradicate it.

Pleased with our start to the season, yes it's been a relatively easy start to the season but against the 2 top teams we have played we have 3 points. Can't really argue with that.
I now have confidence in the team going into games, which hasn't been said for a long long time!
