In today's HDM: Tony's FC career was brought to a premature end last season when he was hit by a rare injury, suffering an insect bite.



And the former Castleford man revealed it not only almost ended his playing career, but also [ucould have caused him to need an amputation[/u.



"If the infection had been any more severe there was the possibility I could have lost a foot," he said.



"I had two weeks in hospital and three operations to get it right.
