| Quote Southey="Southey"For Salford rest Horne, play Turner at S.O, play Whiting at centre and Hall on the wing. For derby, if fit play Horne at S.O, Turner in the centre and Hall on the wing. I would go with one hooker (Berrigan) and play Whiting from the bench to cover second row or loose man. Danny Houghton was very good against Bradford but Rovers have a half decent pack when all fit so go with one extra for our pack. If Horne no fit for derby play Turner at S.O, Whiting at centre, use Moa at prop and Radders in second row. I'm now confused.'"
I think Bradfords pack is better than Rovers.
Rovers do have a decent pack though, esp the Aussie backrowers.

I think your doing hkr a dis service there dave they have a very strong mobile pack.
The hooker position is a problem though.
And they wouldn't say no to a good ball handling loose.
But they have good experienced Australians and a blend of English youth.

Not really, I just think Bradfords is better, Newton and Galea are very good players, but Bradford have Menzies, Hall and Langley, Lynch and Scruton are better than Rovers props IMO, and their hookers are far better.
Some great young players coming though in Whitehead and Donaldson also.
I did say that Rovers have a good pack in my last post.

I just don't rate bradfords back tbh. Lynch and Menzies yes but The rest are slightly overated IMO.

Aye, that's why I said might be fit for the derby, from what I heard he is by no means certain to be fit for it.

If not fit then dont risk, Rovers are now just a match to win this year, added spice yes due to the derby but points never the less...
Turner has more than proved capeable to infill , same with Tansey and whiting!!
no worries we now have cover

| week off will do him good, and the fact that teams havent really been able to see horne and long work together lets face it nobody saw them at saints and to my knowledge they only played at saints and wigan and home to hudds? Hopefully they will have lots of ideas against the robins.
