I would disagree. Prescott scored more than one try from distance, and pulled off some breath-taking cover tackles that required great pace. He was very quick.

.....and Wade has played just a handful of games. Wait until you see him in the clear before you judge.

Perhaps you should wait a few more games before declaring that he offers more than our best full back of the last twenty years then.

Just my opinion. I've seen Wade do things that I never saw Prekkie do....both fantastic players, but Wade seems to have a bit more going forward

Haven't seen it myself. He's good, but I can't yet see a case for him being better than Prescott overall.

Mckinnon is our best full-back since Prescott and could go on to be better.He just looks all round a superb full-back.

although it dosnt seem all that long ago, Presscott played in a different era of fullback play. imo Presscott was a player of incredible intelligence and would have adapted and impressed in todays game, would have needed to bulk up tho, and this may have an adverse effect on his speed and agility. its just great to have a fullback that we can compare to a modern legend of the game, and i just hope the the Mckinnon 'love in' is still going strong at the end of his contract.

to be fair to full backs its a bit like the goalkeeper in football. a mistake usually leads to a goal or try. a mistake by another player can more often than not be covered for. it makes a full backs mistake much more noticeable
