I'd rather leave Seymour the responsibility of leading us around the pitch without the extras of being a captain.

My thoughts are why cant we have a number of captains for the season, say 5-6, and rotate them accordingly. This would share the work load and put less pressure/stress on individual players who thrive on organising the team but maybe wouldnt player as well with all the responsiblity on their shoulders. Think they have something like that over at Wigan and seems to work fine for them. What do you think ??

It was indeed Wigan that did this (not sure if they still do), called it the Leadership Team IIRC?

Totally agree. New club,new teammates and culture I think the last he'll need is the captain's role.

Not a fan of new players coming in as captain myself.

Tickle with Tom as assistant give it to local lads and no one leads like example anymore then these two. neither miss many games and play full 80's

I thought Tickle was from Wigan and Tom Briscoe from Featherstone? I do agree that Tickle would be good as he's been at the club sometime. I'm a big fan of a leadership group however, seems to have worked pretty well at Wigan and I do hope Lynch is part of this.

Didn't they drop the leadership group idea this season and just give it to O'Loughlin ?

Not sure too be honest. Still I suppose they had a successful year in 2010.
