Totally agree the bloke is 30 yrs old has never played a competitive game of RL, Being unable to bring him in for pre-season training made his signing useless as there's no way he would be upto the standard we'd need this season which means he'd actually be 31 by time he actually started playing for us next season.



So if this is true I for one wont be unhappy about it.

It always seemed like a strange signing for you guys so it's probably for the best anyway.

I am curious to see how it is handled in the media though.

We need to get real about Briscoe going to Leeds



1. We offered him big money to stay .. maybe more than he ended up on at leeds



2. Who would blame him for going to a top 4 club , nearer to his home where his brother is



3. He played for 5 years outside a centre who was not well known for timing his passes to give him great opportunities. he now plays outside a world class centre with excellent decision making and passing ability !!. he also was short of opportunities due to our lack of halfs to spread ball to wings. look at what he plays with now - will be back to world class winger this season !!



get real ...there is no wonder he got stale at Hull and was ready for another opportunity and it is a shame he did not get offer for Oz and ended up at a hetherington cliub... I am sure adam was head in hands when it was announced but we cannot blame lack of money offer by macrae as main reason for departure.

If we can't find a better option then we should be asking questions of our scouting/recruitment network. Nothing against him and I wish him the best whilst he's here, but he's plugging a short-term gap, and for longer term we need better.



If we can move Crookes on as well we should be looking to do so, seems a bit injury prone.

Yes its a good job we signed Colbon.
