How is it these guys fault?

The recruitment for the last 3 to 4 years has been pathetic, director of rugby is pointless and we sign an inexperienced coach Who is hopeless. Terry o'connor has already sounded out most of next years signings which again makes me sigh. The players on the pitch will never get sacked but we can hold the people responsible for signing them in the first place.



One coach one person who does the recruiting.

TOC has been in charge of recruitment and advising SOC since he has been at the club. Cullen has continued with the poor recruitment policy, along with TOC and both have failed disastrously. Both should be shipped out the moment a new coach comes in.



If we carry on with these people we could end up being relegated. Plus, if they cannot cope in this league, how on earth can they be trusted in Super League?



We should bring in a new coach, who recruits the players which he wants and doesn’t have someone above him telling him who he is getting. I have defended TOC over the years, but is has become clear, over the last few weeks, that he has had far more say than his credentials should have allowed. He is not an experienced player talent scout and has no business advising on coaches. Hopefully SOC now realizes this and shows him the door.

Agreed, he is a Player's Agent is he not? Why do you think we are getting so many crap players, just as we did when Happy Frank was in charge.

Like I've said before... TOC isn't responsible for saying yay or nay to signings. He is the main contact point and he does the negotiating of contracts at this level. PC is the key man responsible for this year and for last year also. He will also be responsible in part for next year too alongside the new coach. There is the possibility that because we didn't have a coach appointed heading into this season then maybe TOC was more involved than he should have been that was more a case of as the situation dictates.



FWIW... I think the squad is alright and could perform a lot better than it is doing and my questions are firmly with the coaching staff.

We need a new coach now not next year, another crap season will do nothing for confidence or club image if we continue to take hammerings.
