IIRC the contract with Stobart is 5 years on both the stadium and the club sponsorship and the contract with O'Neills was for 4 years.



Which means both the kit supplier and sponsor will be the same next season i just hope that we get more money for giving them both more exposure.

If widnes' kits next year are:-



- Made by either adidas or Nike; and

- Are sponsored by Tesco



Then that really will be very impressive and those that don't take you seriously will certainly sit up and take notice.

The O'Neills deal runs until the end of next season.

Fair enough, wasn't sure tbh. Though was sure someone working at the shop / for O'Neils said deal ran up to possible start of SL (which makes sense for both sides) when discussing who gets money out of shop a while back.

Personally, I hope the club do stick with O'Neills as I don't think they could hope to get a fraction of the co-operation from the likes of Nike et al as they have had from them.



I think O'Neills have done a great job of working with the club and for fans the kit quality has been excellent, just hope they can use this to compete with the big boys when they wave their wads!

O'Neills have done really well with the kits in the past so i think we owe them to continue with them into the Superleague and allow them to produce a kit for us.



Just hope someone comes up with a better colour combination that this seasons though as its still growing on me.

Have said before I'd like us to stick with O'Neils! We'd likely be their only SL side too so should get great original kit & gear out.



Though tbh whoever provides the most £££ wins!
