| Back to back fixtures against the Roughyeds, who will be smarting from the home 1895 Cup defeat to the Dons last Sunday.
This Sunday offers the opportunity to beat one of the favourites for the league title and give our own promotion chances a boost.
Some of the post-match comments after Sunday's cup match suggest that we may see a much changed Oldham team. We'll have wait and see.
Last Season: Doncaster 26 Oldham 22 (Sunday 29 July 201icon_cool.gif.
Dons Tries: Sam Doherty, Brad England, Aaron Jones-Bishop, Jack Logan.
Dons Conversions: Matty Beharrell 4.
Dons Penalty: Matty Beharrell.
=#0000BFDon't forget, this is now a 17:30 kick off.

| Also Thought Brad England might be back. Obvious 2 to miss out will be Bastas and Lawton I'd have thought.

He's not so much a prop as a bloody hindrance and quite possible a reason why we are 6th in a dreadful league.
He gets in every game.... WHY?
Because lamebrain RH made him captain?

| Bit ott that SO. I've got to disagree. Also personal insults to either players or coaching staff aren't really on.

| Sorry that is how I feel.
Answer me ... why should Boyle be first on the teamsheet?
And then explain why RH is not a lamebrain for picking him and also making him captain?
Yet better players are left out.
Even supporters like you leave out better players as a matter of course.
Why?
You'd even leave out a player that has never been on a losing side for Boyle.
Why?
Also this is a forum, thankfully not controlled by the yes-men or the club, so people like me can say what a lot of folk actually think, but who won't or daren't.
I know of nobody that I have spoken to that thinks Boyle should be captain.

The odds confirm that today's game is relatively close with the Dons perhaps slight underdogs.
Finding a way to win these types of matches is key if we're to move up the table. Keeping mistakes to a minimum, discipline, and game management will be vital.
I'm a big fan of Jez Litten. I feel he adds an extra dimension to our attacking play and improves our winning chances considerably. Can we get on top of their forwards to help create a winning platform? Let's hope so!

Agreed, we have to win these sort of fixtures, especially the ones at home. A big test today but hopefully a positive outcome.

With the players in that squad picked.
There is no reason at all to pick Boyle, a lot better ,more mobile and quicker players in there than him.
Looking at it the 2 to miss out would Be Boyle and Lawton unfortunately for him in my mind.
