Without checking back, I seem to recall someone saying one of the car parks was reserved for permit holders only at one of the games and wanted to know why.

I remember days when we had club officials coming on here, and it ended up appearing unprofessional, and to a certain degree made us a laughing stock.



Now an idea..... if Carl or anyone else from the club do read these forums, then instead of participating in the chat threads, maybe answer 4 or 5 issues of the week that have been raised in the forums. Carl could answer these in his weekly interview.

Well i got told of 4 very good names signing for dons this morning and still nothing has been said or revealed, why cant they tell the fans asap to raise hopes and give them reason to buy a ticket?

This week we have found out Baldwin is the Boss and now we find out FROM A FAN that he is a Director of the club and therefore must have a greater say in the running of the club than we thought previously. I certainly don't remember it being said that Baldwin is a Director at the first Keepmoat Fans Forum just before the season started. In fact we were told that Baldwin's only connection was as Chief Executive of Club Doncaster as such providing commercial and development initiatives for the Dons.Is being a Director not something the fans should be aware of,has he put any money into the club? So instead of all this bull about Hall or some other representative coming onto the forum to address issues would'nt it be more sensible to have another Fans Forum at the Keepmoat sooner rather than later so that the fans can get some proper answers.After all if we are not informed about someone becoming a Director,what else is going on that we don't know about?

I can't see any articles which are not on dons site.

With regard to the on-field issues, three things are apparent to me;



1) The retained players are struggling to replicate last seasons form



2) The new signings, with a couple of exceptions, are not ready for the quality of opposition faced in this season's Championship



3) The link with Hull FC does not currently seem to be offering the same benefits as last season.



How this is turned around, I have to say I do not know. Clearly I hope that the Coaching staff do but it won't be easy.



With regard to 1), once the confidence goes and losing becomes a habit, it must be extremely difficult to break the cycle, especially as the opposition this season is much tougher than last.



Where 2) is concerned I have to admit to being in the camp where I agree that the recruitment could and should have yielded some more experienced players considering the Championship was always going to be much tougher this season.



And then we come to 3) ... We have rarely had players who may make a difference and then only fleetingly ... With the greatest of respect to Hull and the players we have had, it really hasn't improved us any thus far.



It sounds like signings may be on the horizon ... they need to be able to hit the ground running and able to compete at this level if we are to start to turn the season around.

I think really something has to change quickly to salvage anything from this season be it playing staff or maybe (much as I will get grief for this) coaching staff.



Something is not working and now we have started to loose quality players with a proven record at this level I do fear the worse for the season.
