Doncaster Rugby League Club are back in Tetley's Challenge Cup action on Friday night and will face Super League club Widnes Vikings in the fourth round at the Stobart Stadium (8pm kick-off).
The Dons progressed to the next stage thanks to an impressive 52-22 victory against Championship One club South Wales Scorpions almost a fortnight ago. Tony Miller was without the services of his dual registered and loan players that day and the same will apply against the Vikings.
Prop forward Matt Carbutt is due to make his comeback after sustaining a knee injury at Hunslet in early March and scrum half Craig Fawcett returns to the fold after missing the last two games due to work commitments.
Prop Mark Castle is also available for selection after missing last week's Featherstone game with a back injury. However, Brooke Broughton will miss out after spraining an ankle last Thursday night but should be back in contention for the Championship game at Whitehaven on Sunday 28th April.
Miller said: "We're going up against a strong and much improved Widnes side and it'll be a very tough game for us at their place.
"The boys are looking forward to the cup tie and playing against some quality Super League players who have previously done well in this competition.
"We've got nothing to lose from the game but it's important that we go there and give a good account of ourselves and enjoy the occasion."
Widnes head coach Denis Betts has named a 19 man squad but hasn't included Wigan's on loan second rower Gareth Hock. However, there's plenty of regular first team players in his squad with the addition of several fringe players.
Betts said: "A cup run is something that invigorates the town and invigorates the club but you wouldn't dismiss any side in the Championship.
"I've coached there and I know what it's like. It's a very tough environment and a tough competition and Doncaster will turn up here wanting to play and wanting to win.
"They won't be coming here thinking they're just going to make the numbers up, they're obviously coming here to compete. They'll have some big lads and quality players and in Paul Cooke, they've got a decent organiser.
"It's going to be a good game of rugby league and it's certainly not going to be easy. We saw that at the beginning of the year when we played Workington."
